A Morning Conversation with David

This morning David was sitting at the kitchen table talking to me while I was making his breakfast. He said:

"Mommy, last night I heard Jesus come down from Heaven and talk to me."

I almost did not know what to say to him at first, not exactly what he typically talks about!

I replied: "He did? Well, what did Jesus have to say to you?"

David says: "He said I should not disobey Him."

I replied: "What did you tell Him when He told you that?"

David says: "I said 'Thank you' "

And that was the end of our conversation. I thought it was so precious and immediately wrote it down so I could share it here. The past couple of days during our morning devotions I have prayed specifically for all of us to be able to hear God speak to us, that we would hear and recognize His voice, and that we would obey Him. I guess their little ears are definitely listening!
