If I were a grown-up...

This afternoon I was snuggling with the boys on the couch. David got up to go get himself a drink, so Paul snuggled up closer to me and said the following:

"Mommy, I love you sooooo much!"

I replied, "Thank you Paul, I love you so much too."

Then he says, "I wish I were a grown-up. If I were I would marry you."

That just made my heart melt...

Paul's thoughts on how I became a wife...

The other day while we were eating lunch, Paul looked over at me and asked:

"Mommy, how did you get to be daddy's wife?"

I replied, "He told me he loved me, and asked me to marry him and be his wife. And I said 'YES!' "

Paul quickly responded, "No Mommy, you had to be very, very, very good! That is how you got to be daddy's wife!"

I just thought this was hilarious! And all day long he was very adamant that that was how I got to be daddy's wife, by being very good!
